WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

The Lash Extensions used at Rhythmic Beauty Lounge are applied individually to the natural lash with a medical grade adhesive that is fume, latex, and formaldehyde free.

 

HOW LONG DO THEY USUALLY LAST?

In simple terms, there is no “one time fits all.” Every person will be different depending on their natural lash cycle. A Full Set will last as long as your natural lash cycle, which can be anywhere from 4 – 6 weeks.  We recommend getting a fill anywhere around two-three weeks.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY THEM?

Our artists can apply a beautiful Full Classic Set of lashes in 90 minutes and a Hybrid or Volume set in 90-120 minutes. We ask you to plan on 60-75 minutes for a fill as well. We like to remove any grown-out lashes, clean them up, and make them look brand new every time you come in; this will ensure the retention and life of your extensions.

 

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP WITH MY LASHES?

YES! Although we do not recommend wearing any mascara that isn’t extension safe or any oil bases products, as it will shorten the life of your lash extension. There is no need to cut out your beauty routine. 

 

WILL LASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

No! when applied properly, with perfect isolation and weight, eyelash extensions will not harm your natural lashes. Our lash artists are all experienced and certified; the most important thing to them is the integrity of your natural lash.

 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY LASH EXTENSIONS?

• Do not get the lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours, including steam, tears, showering, swimming, or eye makeup remover.
• Bush your lashes straight daily.
• No oil-based products
• Do not touch, play with, or pick at your lashes
• Do not use a lash curler on them

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY LASH APPOINTMENT?

Thoroughly wash your eyes out with oil-free face wash or eye makeup remover. Do not wear any eye makeup! Do not curl your lashes.

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT MY LASHES TO LOOK LIKE?

Each set of lashes will look and turn out slightly different than another. We apply the lashes based on the customer and how each of their natural lashes is naturally! A client with naturally large eyes and thick lashes will have a different outcome than one with smaller eyes and finer lashes. Each person’s natural curl and density will play a role in how each set is applied, so every time, it will be a custom set to get you ready for whatever occasion!
